| New Features |
| PMX Alerts Module: Sends notifications by email when certain criteria are met, such as: when asset services are overdue, inventory re-order levels are reached, work orders are created. |
| Status Codes: You can now define as many status codes as you need for Work Orders, Requests, Assets and Purchase Orders. |
| Priority: A field on Work Orders so you can set, sort, filter and run reports on Work Orders based on this priority. |
| Assets: Equipment is now referred to as Assets that you can add serial numbers or model codes to Assets. |
| History: Allows you to view the procedure history of an Asset. |
Attachments: Assets, Requests and Inventory can now have attachments of any file type. |
| Enhanced Features |
| Address Book: Locations, Departments, Operators, Labor and Suppliers have been moved into one section called the Address Book. You can have companies with many contacts for each and one company or contact can be multiple types. |
| PM Schedule: Now shows requests for parts and labor and the total requirements for selected services. It also indicates if there is a shortage in inventory for a service or selected services as a whole. |
| User Rights: Have been modified to add more rights and options, such as an authorisation limit that restricts a user to a certain amount when authorising purchase orders. |
| Procedure: Attach any file as a procedure, which can be opened and viewed in PMXpert. |
| Request: When a request arrives by email, the attachment will be pulled into the Request screen with the email. |

| A new User Manual is currently in production and will be released August 1, 2007. This new Manual will be a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to every feature in PMXpert Software Version 10.1, from setup to reporting. A special PMXpert Bulletin will be emailed to notify you of the Manual’s release. |

What you need to know before upgrading to PMXpert Version 10.1
|
- All custom reports from previous PMXpert versions must be rebuilt before upgrading or they will be lost
- When installing the update, the program will confirm if you have any custom reports and give you the option to continue or cancel the installation. Cancel the installation if you have custom reports that you want to keep.
- You can rebuild your reports yourself or contact our Support department for assistance Support.uk@PMXpert.com or phone: 0871 218 0912.
- In order to upgrade to PXMpert 10.1, you require a current Upgrade Protection Plan. This support plan allows you to access regular software updates (annually in May and November) containing new and enhanced features. You also have unlimited support (Monday to Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. GMT) and can access our website, which contains current information about new updates, frequently asked questions, user manuals and advanced help information.
- If your Upgrade Protection Plan has lapsed, please contact our Sales Department at 0871 218 0912 or Sales.uk@PMXpert.com for information on how to reactivate it
- If you are running PMXpert Version 8 or lower, you must first upgrade to Version 9. Log in to Support at http://www.pmxpertsoftware.co.uk/usersupport/supportmain.cfm. In the Downloads tab, click the link to download the latest Version 9 update. Once you update to Version 9, or if you were already running Version 9, click the link to download PMXpert 10.1 in the Downloads tab.
