Asset Attachments and Images
You were able to add attachments to an asset as you entered it into PMXpert. Review Enter an Asset: Attachment Tab above.
If you want to view, edit or delete these attachments, or add new ones, you can do so under the Attachments tab. Note that an attachment can be an image, e.g. a photograph, picture or diagram, so if you want to add an image to an asset, you can do so by adding an attachment.

In the Assets screen, find the asset for which you want to view, change or add attachments.

Click on the Attachments tab in the bottom portion of the Assets screen. Any related attachments will appear in the selection grid below. If the Attachments tab contains any attachments, the title of the tab will be displayed in red font. If the Main Attachment is an image and the window is large enough, the attachment preview will appear in the upper right corner of the screen.
To edit, view or delete an attachment, click to highlight the relevant attachment in the selection grid and click the Edit, View or Delete button to the right of the grid.

The regular View button will only show information about the attachment.

To view the actual attachment (i.e. the document or picture), click to highlight the appropriate attachment record on the grid and click the View Attachment button.
To set an attachment as the main attachment (e.g. an image that will appear on the Assets screen), click to highlight the attachment on the selection grid and click the Main Attachment button.

The attachment/image will appear in the upper right corner of the Assets screen, if the window is big enough. If it does not appear, try resizing the PMXpert window so that it is larger.
Click the Copy Attachment button to the right of the selection grid. The Asset Attachment Copy window appears.

Click the ellipsis next to the Asset field to find the asset you want to copy attachments from. Select the asset in the Find Asset window and click OK.

Back in the Asset Attachment Copy window, the selected asset's attachments will appear in the selection grid. Select the checkboxes next to the Attachments you want to copy. Click Next.

Select the asset or assets you want to copy the attachments to. To review how to multi-select records, see Chapter 1: Introduction, Common Functions: Multi-Select Items. You can also set a filter and copy the attachments to all visible assets. To review how to set a filter, see Chapter 1: Introduction, Common Functions: Filter Information. At the bottom of the window, select a radio button to indicate whether you want to copy the attachments to Selected Assets or All (Filtered) Assets. Click Finish.
